So, whether you’re travelling as a group or going it alone, here’s our local’s guide to the very best of Pembrokeshire!

Beach Days Are a Must
Let’s start with the obvious: Pembrokeshire beaches are some of the best in the UK (and maybe even the world—we’re not biased, honest!).
- Newgale Beach – Just down the road from both cottages, this huge sandy stretch is brilliant for surfing, sandcastle building, and picnics with a view.
- Whitesands – Great for families, with soft sand, parking, and even an ice cream van.
- Little Haven & Broad Haven – Charming coastal villages with cafes, pubs, and calm waters for paddling.
Top tip: Grab fish and chips in Solva and take them to the harbour wall at sunset. You won’t regret it.
Walk the Pembrokeshire Coast Path
Whether you’re doing a big hike or a short meander, the Pembrokeshire Coast Path offers jaw-dropping views and peaceful spots to stop and take it all in.
- For families and groups, the walk from Broad Haven to Little Haven is short, fun, and ends with a pub!
- For solo travellers or couples, the stretch near Druidstone is wild, beautiful, and often quiet — perfect for a peaceful escape.
Don’t forget to bring your camera—the photo opportunies are endless.
